One old brewer's proverb says: "The brewmaster brews the beer, but the pub owner makes it", and another one says: "Beer in a pub is as good as the pub's guests demand." Entirely in the spirit of these wise proverbs, Pivovary Staropramen operates a comprehensive system that makes it possible to ensure first-class beer quality through the entire chain, from selection of ingredients, through the actual brewing process and distribution, to when the beer is drawn into glasses in the pub. The quality care program includes the ""First Brewery School" project.

First Brewery School

The project "First Brewery School" is designed for pub owners, their employees, and even for regulars. The objective of this project is to explain to all how to correctly treat beer to ensure the highest quality for pub visitors. The project is the only one of its kind in the Czech Republic and perhaps in the entire world as well. The First Brewery School includes a detailed tour of the entire brewery, a lecture on beer brewing and, finally, a course on proper drawing technique. Graduates of the First Brewery School receive a certificate in the form of one founder's share of Staropramen from 1869, issued specially for this occasion.
