Last year, Ostravar Brewery produced 769 ths hectoliters of beer, the second best result so far in its 112-year history. For illustration – in 1908 it would have taken the Ostrava brewery 12 years to sell that volume of beer.
Pivovary Staropramen Sell Most Beer in History of the Company

Another increase in beer sales volume in the domestic market and growing demand for the Staropramen brand abroad – that, in a nutshell, characterizes the year 2008 from the perspective of Pivovary Staropramen, a member of the Anheuser-Busch InBev group. In total, the company sold 3.26 million hectoliters of beer, breaking the company’s previous record from 2007.
